Jap Imports

Jap Imports is based in Cornwall, England, and is run by Paul Howard. Paul's interest in cars started at a very early age. His first car was a Pug 205 which he heavily modified.

He gradually moved on to several high-performance modified cars. He then bought a Subaru Imprezza V-Limited from Ireland and loved it so much he moved on to an imported Subaru Imprezza STI 555, this is when his interest in Japanese imports started. He sprayed the Scooby with flip paint, modified the body to his own specifications and filled the boot with big ice. This car was a cover car for Redline.

He now wouldn't drive anything other than a Japanese car. Paul now imports Japanese cars fora living, to order, mainly high performance, heavily modified Supras, Skylines and Subarus. However if you have a requirement for a car, Paul can almost certainly source one for you from his network of contacts in the trade in Japan.

Turbo Technics

Our expertise, used to design and manufacture special turbocharger components, is totally unique. The flexibility which enables us to take a new idea from the drawing board through to our fully equipped machine workshops, then into a turbocharger assembly, and finally to performance testing, all within a short period of time, is invaluable. It puts us one step ahead in the design of special Hybrid Performance Turbos and in the development of race and rally car turbos.

Turbo Technics is a world class company, acting as consultants to major car manufacturers, engine designers and race teams in their quest to achieve the best from turbochargers. There are very few areas in the turbo industry which have not been influenced by Turbo Technics.

Japan Import Car

Between ourselves and our Japanese counterparts we can supply the best quality cars at the very best prices. Based in the North East, our cars are selected and inspected in Japan and all de-registration, customs and shipping arrangements are made. On arrival to the UK, we collect, bring home and prepare cars to UK specification. Vehicles are then taken for appropriate tests (i.e. S.V.A. And M.O.T.). Any repairs and servicing are completed by ourselves and cars are then registered, taxed and valeted ready for sale.
