JDM All-Stars Academy offers drifting courses to all levels.
Our courses are designed for even the most novice driver. Multiple training exercises will be used to educate drivers step by step in the art of drifting. With three tracks being used throughout the UK, this gives the opportunity for you to learn from the Professional Drivers of JDM All-Stars and other top european drift series.

What type of cars can be used?

A proper drift car needs to be rear-wheel-drive. Why? The power needs to come from the rear of the car while the front steers you through the turn. A 2way diff lsd/welded diff should be fitted prior to course action.There are 3 drift cars available for hire. See section below.

Stage 1 (Novice school) Drifting Course

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn advanced car control or drifting. You will be taught both the theory of drifting and practical aspects of controlling the car in small groups. We only teach drifting in rear wheel drive cars fitted with a limited slip differential (LSD).

* This is a 1 day course, not a 'driving experience'
* Suitable for novices and experienced drivers over 16 years old.
* Lots of driving time - Practise is more
* Learn in our cars well entry level setup drift cars
* Small group sizes (8-10 people for each car/instructor) means maximum driving time
* Refreshments provided throughout the day
* Drift Competition with prizes at every event

 

Stage 2 (Advanced) Drifting Course Features

Suitable for anyone who has done some drifting before or completed Level 1. This course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn advanced car control or drifting. You will be taught both the theory of drifting and practical aspects of controlling the car in small groups. We only use wide open areas with nothing to hit apart from a stray cone!

* Maximum of 3 guests per car/instructor all day
* Intensive instruction on our large practise area
* Learn advanced techniques on a challenging course
* Drive fully prepared 300bhp drift cars or use your own car (must be suitable for drifting)
* Refreshments provided throughout the day
* Drift Competition with prizes at every event

 

Stage 3 One to one training.

Suitable for people who want to step it up from semi pro/amateur level to Professional Level. This will include car preparation along with car setup. Judged runs like an actual competition. Techniques that you are taught in the course can be applied against the world's most accurate drift measurement device, the Drift Box. Driver Video clips will be taken during the day to help drivers analyse their performance.

Cars Available For Instruction

Car 1 - Nissan Skyline R32 - 260hp

We have found the R32 as a perfect platform for people to start drifting. For beginners it's so easy to start a drift and initiate, giving the drivers the confidence in them straight away.

Car-2 Nissan 200sx-280HP

The 200sx is one of the most popular platforms to be found for drifting. With this car beginners can carry there confidence, on to a better car, where they will be able to carry more speed, and find the line between control and speed.

Car-3 Nissan PS13-350HP (Pro-Level Prepared Car)

This is a fully prepared 350HP Pro Level car that could compete in any professional competition. When we feel a driver has sufficient confidence, we will award them with a drive in a fully prepared 350HP Pro Level PS13 Silvia. (Also this car may be hired for the JDM All-stars competitions, if you can reach a Pro License Level in our one on one training stage)

Passenger Rides

This will give you the chance to be chauffeured around our Drift track at high speed in none other than a 350BHP Drift Car. This experience popular is for all ages!
