For 2010 Jap Performance Parts based in Crawley,Sussex have officially signed Walton Smith. Ex GT Battle Winner  and top ranking driver in the JDM Allstars Series.This is Jap Performance Parts first entry into Professional drifting, and with the expertise and guidance of Walton developing the chassis in partnership with Garage-D watford this is set to be one of the most interesting teams in 2010. The Subaru GC8 Chassis was selected , to run a selection of JPP Parts and run an RB25 Engine conversion  by PR Developments running in excess of 500hp.With an array of custom parts and extensive modifications , JPP aim to make a big impact on the series in 2010.

Just got some news that Garage-D led by Julian Smith will be making there return in 2010. The famous Garage-D based in Watford, UK has been very busy over the last few weeks gathering parts and building in preparation for the 2010 season.

Brad made a BIG impact in 2009 in Round 3 of the JDM Allstars Professional Drift Series at Wembley Stadium with some truly impressive driving and wall rubbing in his Nissan Silvia S14 that won the crowd over at the famous street circuit. He’ll be one to watch in 2010 for sure!

This week we catch up with Christy Carpenter, one of our longest serving drivers. First appearing in 2007 at Night Fight, the 2007 UK vs Ireland event, in which Christy broke everything on his freshly unveiled Koguchi Power Ex-D1 PS13. The Top Fuel Imports team always turns out some of the best cars, and for 2010 they have one of the most potent packages in the paddock.

While we were at the IDS show at the weekend on the Nurburgring racetrack, we came across Julian Smith testing and setting up one of his 2 x Garage D Prepared R34’s to be unveiled very soon for the 2010 season on the Nordschleife circuit.

Each of the new R34’s both running 500hp + for next season.

With so many new teams coming back 2010 is going to be BIG.
