Red Bull Motocross Of Nations-Donington Park
Sunday, October 5th, 2008My annual trip trip to the mx desnations was coming up.Luckly this year it was being held at donington park, only a short 3hour drive away.
Motocross is big time in the UK, and was a good chance for me to meet up with some of my friends at this from when i used to do motocross. Team Ireland didnt do so well, poor crockard , knocked himself out pon a tabletop, and wiped out any hope of qualifing for the top teams, and they where relegated to the B-Final.
Claimed between 50-60,000 people attended , which was the third biggest motorsport event after F1 and MotoGP.
Team USA won again with James stewart,Ryan Villapoto and Tim Ferry
Villpoto winning the MX2 race
James SDtewart winning the MX1/MX3 race
Mental crowds there, you had to get in early to get good views, but was awesome to watch

It was the battle of the afterparties-Red Bull originally had a big after party organised but it was made look pretty small by the Monster rig.
All works Red bull riders and everyone one was in the monster rig as this was
the place to be.
With a free Bar lots of Monster and vodka, music and dancers what more do you want.

Day OUT at BTCC Finals at Brands Hatch
Sunday, October 5th, 2008Day OUT at BTCC Finals at Brands Hatch
On our way back from the final round of JDM Allstars we had a day to kill as the event had fallen on the saturday, and JDM JAM was on the monday. The finals of the BTTC where on at brands hatch, and no better excuse but to check out one of the UK’s most spectacular tracks.
Dan was on the phone and a quick call to Paul at Seat motorsport and we had 5 Vip tickets and paddock pass’s.
Ive always heard from many drivers how awesome it was, and first impressions where it was better then expected.
The circuit itself is like a bigger version of lydden hill, but with proper infastructure, and and pits. The whole track is really good for spectators as you can view the whole track from most locations.
Loads of battles during the day, Giovanardi had to really work for the title, and had a few offs himself, Plato his main rival rival for the series, suffering mechanical problems with the Diesel power seat
Tom onlow cole our resident JDM driver who was with us at wembley, and we are coaching to drift in the coming months.Tom started of quite well in the first two races and had two mid pack top ten finishes. In the third race he finisehed second to Tom chilton(Another driver that has shown interest in drifting before)
Really bad crash in the third race, took a number of laps to clear the track as there was debris everywhere.Car was a total writeoff off course.
In Race 3 one of the DC5 integras of the private teams, engine expired and spewed oil all over paddock. This was unknown to the leading cars in the next lap, and nearly ended up in one of the most expensive/biggest cars crashes in BTCC history.Everycar came down in to paddock flat out as normal, but on this particular lap every car went off the track, and bounced across the gravel trap, and somehow managed to stay on the track.
How none of the 15 cars have a big crash there was beyeond me as drivers couldnt see a thing with the dust thrown up
K-San loving the the track action , abit different to JGTC that he is used to
