This weeks featured driver is Declan Hicks, one of the old timers of the UK Drifting scene who has been there from the start.

Declan Hicks or Mr Pimms as he is referred to these days is now facing his third season in JDM Allstars and after some top results over the years he is looking at his biggest challenge for 2010. He will be retiring his famous Toyota Soarer GZ20 and debuting a new Toyota Cresta JZX81, in an all new build from the ground up. This should be the car that propels his results to the next level!

For this weeks friday feature we caught up with Declan Munnelly, a driver who hails from Ireland and drifts one of the most classic cars in the JDM Allstars series. Declan burst onto the scene in 2008 at the very the very first JDM Allstars Wembley laying down run after run and earning respect from all top drivers in his classic Escort.

More recently at the JDM Allstars final at Silverstone Declan had two hard fought battles against Walton Smith in the Severnside Imports PS13 and Phil Morrison in the Driftworks S15. A David Vs Goliath Battle where Declan’s 270BHP Vs Phil’s 666BHP nearly defeated Phil’s mighty S15 in one of the battles of the season showing how nimble and fast and skillfull the Escort driver was.
